It is the goal of the Mercy Surgery Center to acknowledge and resolve most complaints/grievances within 10 business days. There may be occasions when this is not possible. If such occasion occurs, the patient or their representative will be informed that the Mercy Surgery Center is still working to resolve the grievance and will follow-up with a written response. The written response will not to exceed 30 days from the time of the initial receipt of the concern. Substantiated allegations will be reported to the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals.
